This is a hot remix of Drake’s “Find Your Love” by one of the top DJ in the world, DJ Vice with the help from DJ Riddler. DJ Vice, if you didn’t know, was a local Power 106 DJ and part of the DJ group, SKAM Artist who rose to fame through his incredible turntable skills and now is recognized as one of the most sought after DJs in the West Coast. I stumbled upon this song while trying to find the download for the Mike Posner “Please Don’t Go” from the same duo but failed miserably. If anyone else has the song, please dropbox to my soundcloud and I will be able to share it to everyone. Anyways this song is still slammin’, as always expected from DJ Vice, and make sure you check it out.

Musical Spotlight: The Cool Kids

I’ve been following The Cool Kids for awhile now but they haven’t been in the spotlight much, so I decided to do a musical spotlight for them. The Cool Kids are a hip-hop duo consisting of “Mikey Rocks” and “Chuck Inglish” based from the Mid-West. Mikey is known for his rapping while Chuck is known for making the sick ass beats. Their music style is much different from the raw hip hop form and is more of an “alternative hip hop” group.

Their fame grew big thanks to the popularity of Myspace, much like other artists such as Soulja Boi, Lil’ B, and etc. They have yet to release their official debut album titled “When Fish Ride Bicycles” but their multiple mixtapes have been pretty bumpin’. You can recognize them from a slew of appearance including working with The Bloody Beetroots, Asher Roth, Kenna, Drake, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, and Maroon 5.

Check them out and support them as they are getting bigger and bigger.

I just got news 2K games made it official that the PC/Xbox360/PS3 first-person shooter game Duke Nukem Forever is alive and is being completed soon. The game is notorious for it’s long awaited game release date and has already been pushed back 12 years with fans calling it Duke Nukem “Never” or “(Taking) Forever”, “Whenever”, “ForNever”, “Neverever”, and “If Ever”.

The new development team Gearbox Software took off exactly where 3D Realms left off and is expected to release this sometime next year. Anyways this man right here is the OG Duke Nukem and without him, my name wouldn’t exist today. Hope that explains any confusion on why my name is Duc Nukem and not Duc Nguyen; it’s merely a nickname of a video game character. So I can’t wait for them to finish it and see him on a console soon!

This is part 1 out of 2 parts for today’s Funky Friday post. This is because later today Kanye will drop his newest addition to the G.O.O.D. Fridays music extravaganza that he promised, so that will be part 2. This song here is a remix of an international smash hit from the Belgium artist Stromae, called “Alors on Danse.” I usually wouldn’t do a 2-part posts for just a regular music day but this song is too good and new that I couldn’t help but blog about it. Apple computers held an event today, September 1st, unveiling a couple new gadgets to their already huge tech line. The new revamped line includes a brand new iPod touch, iPod nano, iPod shuffle, as well as Apple TV and iTunes 10. I’m sure everyone, myself included, is very excited to see this new refresh and can’t wait to go to an Apple store to play with these new toys. So in this post, I will highlight some of the new innovations that Apple introduced today.

The first is the Apple iPod Touch.

This new iPod touch makes a huge jump from it’s last predecessor with the iPhone 4′s Facetime built in, utilizing its new front-facing and back camera. Along with this the resolution is now in Retina display so it is as clear as the iPhone 4′s with resolution 960 by 640. The new camera also allows 720p HD video recording, so this will be the only device you need to carry with you from now on.

The iPod Nano.

The iPod nano finally includes a multi-touch screen, which was never seen before on a nano. The screen allows you to navigate through the iPod menus with using only your fingers, which makes it the best nano yet. The tiny device also includes a clip so you can carry your music on the go.

The iPod Shuffle.

I was never a big fan of the shuffle but being only $49 for a portable music player, how can you go wrong? This generation’s shuffle brings back the buttons that was eliminated from the previous shuffles. In a way, Apple kind of took a step backwards so nothing too impressive here. It also brings back the bright aluminum colors, the clip, and VoiceOver which announces which song is playing due to its lack of a screen.

Apple TV.

Apple TV now comes in a sleek black box and now allows streaming videos from Netflix as well as $.99 TV show rentals or $3.99 HD movie rentals. This sounds like not a bad deal being that the device is only $99. It also includes an Apple remote to make your viewing experience much easier and also allows HDMI input for quick and easy setup.

iTunes 10.

iTunes 10 now brings a social networking aspect called Ping to their already huge internet store for buying music. It allows you to follow your favorite artists and/or friends and discover new music from them. Other than that, it is basically the same until the next iOS software update 4.1 releases (hint: Game Center); which should be very soon.

NBA 2K11

The NBA season is almost back again for the ’10-’11 season and you know what that means: a new 2K NBA game! This time around, the game finally features His Airness, Michael Jordan for the first time in a video game since NBA Street Vol. 1. The game is packed with not only Jordan-exclusive challenges, but smoother gameplay, more control of players, revamped MyPlayer mode, as well as better overall gameplay tweaks to come. I myself have been a 2K fan since ’05 and can not be more ecstatic for this next release from 2K games. Being able to control Jordan for the first time in years is amazing and all the challenges that they put into the game is even more enticing. Anyways, I will be getting this game probably release day so you can catch me on Xbox 360- gamertag: DucNukem. The game comes out October 5th and I can’t wait to get it to pwn up noobs, especially ones named Brandon. *Jordan shrug.

Wylin’ Wednesdays: Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, & Will.I.Am

Got 2 new songs for today, Sept 1st, one from Wiz and the other from Nicki & Will.I.Am. The first song is a new one from the Taylor Gang General Wiz off his new album, it’s called “Black & Yellow.” It is produced by Stargate, who has produced a load of songs, and was dropped by the Wiz himself. Check it out as Wiz is blowing up as of late and is of no surprise; he can really flow.

The next one is from the queen of Young Money, Nicki Minaj and the Black Eyed Peas, Will.I.Am. The two does somewhat of a duet on the song and sounds good so far. Was kinda late blogging this track but giving it a chance to all you readers. Check it out! (no pun intended)

Tuesday Tunes: La Zebra & Hypercrush

Sorry for being a little late on blogging today but the first of 2 for Tuesday songs today will be from NAHT’s very own sponsored DJ: La Zebra.
